Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Contract Specialist to join our team at Leidos. This role will involve providing commercial, contractual, and technical interpretation of contracts with key customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Existing Contracts: Provide commercial, contractual, and technical interpretation on contract terms and conditions as the lead for existing contracts with key customers.
  • Contract Change Proposals: Scrutinise and govern contract change proposals; provide high-quality contract drafting and negotiate proposals through to signature.
  • Commercial Evaluation: Lead the commercial evaluation and preparation of contract change proposals.
  • Contract Management: Own the contract management and contract compliance activities for the programme.
  • Customer Disputes: Proactively manage customer disputes and complaints.
  • Timely Commercial Advice: Provide timely commercial advice to project and delivery teams in support of management and delivery of the programme.
  • Financial Aspects: Ensure that the financial aspects and impact of the contract are clear to all parties.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive experience of managing commercial and contractual elements of a contract change pipeline, including scope definition, pricing strategy, risk evaluation and allocation, managing queries and disputes in the delivery phase.

You should also have a good level of understanding of programme technical performance metrics and financial status.

What We Offer:

At Leidos, we offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
