About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Solutions Consultant to join our Business Solutions Team at Foresters Financial. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in facilitating the technology needs of multiple business lines in support of our strategic goals, visions, and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders to gather customer requirements and translate them into clear requirements documents.
  • Business Analysis: Conduct thorough business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes that contribute to meeting business objectives.
  • Requirements Management: Work with the business to capture high-level requirements and epics, deconstruct high-level requirements into user stories, and complete the Requirements Model with the Development Team.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain and develop knowledge of business processes, product knowledge, system interfaces, and data models.
  • Delivery Reconciliation: Reconcile system deliveries against requirements to ensure business expectations are met.
  • Team Alignment: Align and manage individual work within the Business Solutions team to support the IT operating model.
  • Communication: Conduct meetings and presentations to share solutions and/or outputs from analysis.
Requirements
  • Business Acumen: Good business knowledge, with a willingness to grow this further and gain operational knowledge.
  • Requirements Definition: Previous experience in requirements definition, ideally gained in a Business Analyst role or similar.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to demonstrate strong analytical thinking.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships at all levels.
  • Organizational Skills: Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Good knowledge in Microsoft applications.
  • Financial Services Experience: Experience within the field of Financial Services would be desirable, along with experience of working on technological implementations, working with 3rd party software providers, and understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies.
  • Certifications: BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis would be advantageous.
  • Additional Skills: SQL Server Management Studio skills would also be a plus.
Work Arrangements

This is a hybrid role, with two days a week based in our Head Office in Bromley, with flexibility to work remotely for the other three days.
