Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge digital solutions that drive business growth and enhance the member experience.

  • Design and develop complex views, stored procedures, and SSIS packages using Visual Studio to ensure efficient data management and processing.
  • Provide technical guidance and estimates to project teams, ensuring operational supportability and scalability of proposed solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in handling incidents and problem management for client-facing technologies, messaging systems, APIs, and business applications.
  • Participate actively in post-incident reviews and change implementation reviews to identify areas for improvement and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate effectively with external suppliers and specialist IT teams to resolve complex technical issues and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Take ownership of resolving intricate application incidents and requests, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize disruption.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our DevOps framework by automating development processes and promoting best practices.
  • Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including systems design, development, code review, debugging, and support testing.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a DBA or systems developer with a proven track record of success in delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, database administration, SSIS, and data analytics techniques.
  • Strong understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) concepts and their implementation within agile development environments.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Experience with RESTful services would be highly advantageous.
