We are seeking a talented Specialty Doctor in Palliative Medicine to join our dynamic team, working 4 days per week (Monday to Friday) with flexible hours. This exciting opportunity has arisen due to increased demand for specialist palliative and end-of-life services.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Consultant Team to provide specialist palliative care input to patients across various hospital departments, including A&E and ITU. We have a well-established breathlessness clinic and an Advance Care Planning clinic, and we aim to develop further services such as renal supportive care and Vulnerable Adult support when resources allow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing specialist palliative care input to patients across various hospital departments.
  • Working closely with our Consultant Team to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Participating in audit and quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in medicine or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years full-time general medical experience.
  • Experience of palliative medicine, preferably in an acute hospital setting.

Salary:£60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
