Strategic Partnership Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Partnership Manager to join our team at SSE. As a key member of our Procurement & Commercial department, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining productive relationships with our IT key suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Relationship Management: Develop and implement strategies to foster strong relationships between our IT teams and key suppliers, ensuring seamless collaboration and mutual understanding.
- Advisory: Provide expert commercial and contractual advice to our Procurement and Commercial leadership, ensuring that our suppliers meet our business needs and deliver high-quality services.
- Governance: Manage a portfolio of suppliers across various categories, including services, software, and hardware, to support the delivery of our department's KPIs and objectives.
- Management: Lead and develop the capabilities of a Contract Manager(s), providing guidance and support to ensure the successful management of our supplier relationships.
- Comprehensive Knowledge: Proven expertise in the IT and/or Telco market and supply chain, including experience in drafting, interpreting, and negotiating complex IT and Telco contracts.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with IT and Telco suppliers, including Microsoft, Oracle, GE, HCL, Infosys, CapGemini, and Vodafone.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior management and directors to establish trusted partner relationships.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills in complex supplier and internal customer relationship environments.
