About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Sales Support Coordinator to join our team at Great People. As a Sales Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our Sales Team in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inbound calls to the Sales Team, ensuring timely and effective communication with customers.
  • Support and manage renewal follow-up activity, including outstanding decisions and information requests, to maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Manage general queries, supplier questionnaires, and requests for information, providing accurate and timely responses.
  • Support the Sales Team in recording and reporting sales activity and outcomes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Liaise with other functions within the business to ensure effective communication, timely resolution, and the best customer experience and outcomes.
  • Support sales projects and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the sales process and function.
Requirements
  • Numeracy and literacy skills to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Organisation skills to manage multiple demands and priorities.
  • Strong verbal and communication skills, particularly via telephone, to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Use of concise, clear, and appropriate language to ensure effective communication.
  • Listening and responding effectively to customer queries and concerns.
  • Reasoning and the ability to identify possible problems or stumbling blocks to provide solutions.
  • Ability to manage conflict in a professional manner, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
  • Able to build rapport and successful relationships with customers and colleagues, both internally and externally.
  • Empathetic and able to identify, understand, and respond to different views and perspectives.
  • Work well as part of a team, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Benefits
  • Salary: £22,022.00 per annum.
  • Office-based with potential to move to hybrid working upon completion of probationary period (usually 3 months).
  • Working hours/benefits:
    • 35 hours a week.
    • Death in service 10x salary.
    • Company pension scheme (auto-enrolled).
    • Voluntary dental after completion of probationary period.
    • PMI after 6 months.
    • Performance-related bonus scheme (subject to bonus scheme rules re eligibility).
    • 23 days holiday per year.
