About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at St Olaf, a leading care home in the Eastern Highlands. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, many of whom live with dementia, strokes, or Parkinson's disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centered care and support to residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist in creating a positive and supportive environment, encouraging social interaction and engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Adhere to Meallmore's standards, policies, and procedures, as well as National Care Standards.
  • Participate in ongoing learning and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • Working towards SSSC registration requirements.
  • SVQ level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care (as per SSSC guidelines).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A kind and caring nature.
