Care Assistant Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at St Olaf, a leading care home in the Eastern Highlands. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their wellbeing and independence.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide person-centred care and support to residents, adhering to their individual care plans and promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing
* Assist in creating a caring environment, participating in activities and contributing to the overall quality of life for residents
* Work collaboratively with care staff and other teams to ensure seamless care delivery
* Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to Meallmore's standards and policies

**Requirements**

* SVQ level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care (as per SSSC guidelines)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Kind and caring nature
