Job Summary:

Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laundry Team Lead to join our team. As a Laundry Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising the daily laundry operation, training and developing team members, and ensuring a consistent service is given.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and supervise the daily laundry operation to ensure efficient and effective processing of laundry.
  • Train and develop team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties to a high standard.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the laundry area.
  • Ensure all laundry equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve laundry operations.
  • Participate in quality control initiatives to ensure high-quality laundry services.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a laundry operation, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends.
  • Knowledge of laundry equipment and best practices.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
