We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laundry Operations Manager to join our team at Royal Caribbean Group. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of our laundry facilities, ensuring that all laundry products are washed, ironed, and stored to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Laundry Operations Management: Supervise the daily operation of the laundry facility, ensuring that all equipment is fully operational and that laundry products are processed efficiently.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all laundry products meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate with the Executive Housekeeper to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
- Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with the Cruise Division to ensure that all laundry supplies are ordered and delivered in a timely manner.
- Team Management: Supervise and train a team of laundry staff to ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties to the highest standards.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve any problems that arise in the laundry facility, working closely with the Executive Housekeeper and other members of the hospitality team.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on laundry operations, including quality control checks, equipment maintenance, and supply chain management.
- Education: High school or equivalent.
- Experience: A minimum of three years of related experience and/or training in the laundry field.
- Language: Ability to read and interpret English language documents.
- Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
