Wayman Learning Trust is a forward-thinking secondary school committed to student mental health and emotional wellbeing. We are looking for a dedicated Emotional Wellbeing Support Professional to join our team.

The Job

This full-time role involves providing essential support to students facing emotional and mental health challenges. You will work closely with the SEN and pastoral teams to create tailored support plans, engaging with teachers, parents, and external agencies as needed.

Your Skills and Experience

  • You will have previous experience in mental health support, pastoral care, or a related field, preferably within an educational setting.
  • You will possess a compassionate and calm approach to sensitive issues, with the ability to create a safe and trusting environment for students.
  • You will have strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and collaboration with students, staff, and parents.
  • You will have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to the varying needs of students in different emotional states.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a member of our team, you will also enjoy a range of benefits, including access to comprehensive training and development opportunities.
