{"title": "Mixing Operative", "description": "We are seeking a skilled Mixing Operative to join our production team at Fox\u2019s Burton\u2019s Companies (FBC UK). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that production lines are adequately supplied with mixes and materials for the day-to-day running of our manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities:

\u2022 Operate hand trucks, power-trucks, and counterbalance trucks safely, completing necessary safety checks
\u2022 Respond to reasonable requests from department Line captains/section managers
\u2022 Ensure smooth communication with shift handovers, Mixers/Raw materials, and Logistic-leaders
\u2022 Complete relevant checks, including sieve integrity, pre-start, mixer weigher sheets, foreign matter, glass, and hard plastic
\u2022 Operate Promtek correctly
\u2022 Maintain correct stock rotation when using raw materials
\u2022 Monitor changeovers, ensuring mixes are ready when the line changes over
\u2022 Supply baking lines with mixes on request

Requirements:

\u2022 Good understanding of written and spoken English, plus numeracy skills
\u2022 Willingness to learn and be flexible in tasks required
\u2022 Ability to work as part of a team, helping those around you
\u2\u2022 Be able to follow instructions from other team members and supervision
\u2022 Prior mixing room and/or hand truck/power truck/counterbalance truck experience is advantageous
\u2022 Good planning and organizing skills
