With a strong commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, FBC UK is seeking a skilled Mixing Operative to join their production team.

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mixing Operative to join our production team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing lines by supplying mixes and materials as needed. Your attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will be essential in meeting our production goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate hand trucks, power-trucks, and counterbalance trucks safely, completing necessary safety checks
  • Respond to requests from department Line captains/section managers
  • Ensure smooth communication with team members and supervisors to maintain production efficiency
  • Complete all relevant checks, including sieve integrity, pre-start, mixer weigher sheets, foreign matter, glass, and hard plastic
  • Operate Promtek correctly and maintain accurate stock rotation
  • Monitor changeovers and ensure mixes are ready when the line changes over
  • Supply baking lines with mixes as needed
Requirements
  • Good understanding of written and spoken English, plus numeracy skills
  • Willingness to learn and be flexible in tasks required
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to follow instructions from team members and supervisors
  • Prior mixing room and/or hand truck/power truck/counterbalance truck experience is advantageous
  • Good planning and organizing skills
