Patient Care Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at The Aberfeldy Practice. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and direct patients to the appropriate healthcare professional in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and visitors.
- Manage administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, and emailing.
- Process patient registrations, updates, and repeat prescription requests.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Contribute to the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on own and team activities and making suggestions on ways to improve and enhance the team's performance.
Requirements:
- Experience of working in primary care or a similar setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm in situations and work under pressure.
- Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with users, colleagues, and outside agencies.
- Polite and professional at all times.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and development of own skills and abilities.
