Senior Technical Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced mass spectrometry analysis expert to join our team at the University of Kent. As a Senior Technical Specialist, you will take the lead in developing and maintaining specialist mass spectrometry analytical facilities, ensuring effective, safe, and efficient use of resources and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply expert knowledge to the use and maintenance of equipment and facilities relating to mass spectrometry and chromatography.
  • Provide technical training and set technical standards for the Division of Natural Sciences.
  • Work collaboratively with senior academic staff to deliver specialist technical support to national and world-leading research.
  • Develop and maintain specialist mass spectrometry analytical facilities.
