About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Polaris Community. As a key member of our nighttime care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our young residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people during nighttime hours
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, promoting a sense of security and trust
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a stable and nurturing environment
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of individualized care plans and support strategies
Requirements
  • Experience working with children and young people in a residential setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare
