Job Description:

The Transport Administrator will work closely with the Senior Transport Clerk and transport team to provide operational and administrative support. Key responsibilities include checking-in and checking-out drivers, despatching drivers, and completing key documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and accurately despatching drivers with all relevant paperwork
  • Completing customer and Stobart KPIs where required
  • Inputting trailer details into the internal tracking system
  • Monitoring the service board to ensure the correct week number is on the correct trailer for depot trailers
  • Liaising with drivers on the gate communication system to inform them of site procedures before entering site, when required
  • Completing all daily tasks as assigned by the Senior Transport Clerk

Shift and Salary:

The position is on a fixed-term contract until 30/04/2025. The shift is 4 on 4 off, 06:00 - 18:00, and the salary is £22,945.10 per annum.
