Job Title: Transport Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Transport Operations Coordinator to join our team at the Culina Group. As a key member of our transport team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the movement of goods across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the transport and warehouse teams to create an efficient transport plan using the latest TMS system.
  • Plan daily workload of fleet vehicles based on site and out bases.
  • Report problems and deal with issues and any queries that may arise.
  • Plan collections per day on a time-critical basis.
  • Maintain and exceed agreed KPIs.
  • Proactively look for continuous improvements.
  • Be able to make decisions under pressure and to a tight timescale.
  • Have a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business particularly at peak periods during the year.

Requirements:

  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
  • Proficient in computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Work, and Outlook.
  • CPC desirable but not required.
  • Experience of planning 100+ tractor units across multiple depots.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to succeed in a pressurized environment.
  • Customer focus on delivery performance.
  • Commercially and financially astute and driven to deliver exceptional results.
  • Experience of using a TMS system.
  • Experience in an FMCG environment.
  • Strong analytical and Excel capability across standard formulas.
