Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Transport Operations Coordinator to join our team at Culina Group. As a key member of our Transport Department, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition when loading and unloading trailers, while maintaining a high standard of safety and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage trailer checks and report any defects or damage
- Liaise with colleagues and complete shift reports
- Conduct daily checks and complete associated documentation
- Carry out shunting duties and relevant maintenance and safety checks
- Liaise with warehouse control and goods in staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading
- Complete vehicle downloads and monitor services/MOTs
- Assist with fuel delivery and manual dip of fuel
- Keep the yard in a clean and tidy condition
- Liaise with Transport Office as required
- Manage the flow of traffic in and out of the yard
Requirements
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Adaptable and methodical approach to work/training
- Conscientious and reliable
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
- Effectively prioritize workload to meet set deadlines
- Able to work as part of a team or individually

- Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers' hours
