Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction for the finance function, ensuring compliance with legislation and industry best practices.

Requirements
  • Senior-level financial management background with CCAB, ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualification - desirable but not essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to lead high-performing teams and operate at different levels, including with Board members.
  • Extensive background working in financial accounting and management within a charity.
  • Knowledgeable about SORPS and relevant charity legislation.
  • Possesses excellent analytical and interpretive abilities.
  • Background working in developing and monitoring financial strategies.
  • Skilled in supporting the development of funding bids and proposals to ensure cost recovery.
