About the Role

We are seeking a visionary leader to shape the future of SEN education within our unique and specialist school.

You will lead a talented team of educators, working closely with the leadership team, teaching staff, and support staff to create a shared vision for the school's growth and development.

Your mission is to instil a creative and innovative style of leadership that inspires excellent educational standards, high aspirations, and a culture of excellence for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for SEND education, driving innovation and improvement across the school
  • Collaborate with the leadership team, teaching staff, and support staff to create a cohesive and inclusive learning environment
  • Foster a culture of excellence, inspiring staff and students to achieve their full potential

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as Deputy Head teacher or equivalent, with a proven track record of successful leadership in a SEND environment
  • A deep understanding of school finances, curriculum development, and operational planning, with the ability to make informed decisions
  • An exceptional communication style, able to work closely with the Governing Body, Local Authority, and other stakeholders to drive school improvement
  • A strong commitment to collaboration, with a willingness to share best practice and learn from others

Salary and Benefits:
