About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our Gas Product Testing team in Loughborough. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting test work on a range of gas products and fittings to ensure they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement test plans and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and premier customer service.
  3. Conduct on-site or remote testing as required, and maintain accurate records of test results.
  4. Operate in line with quality and safety procedures to ensure compliance with organizational and legislative requirements.
  5. Produce high-quality test reports and project status updates in a timely manner.
  6. Liaise with the calibration department to ensure the maintenance and use of correct equipment for testing.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory and office environment.
  8. Identify and escalate any issues that impact testing performance or quality of results.
Requirements
  1. Hold a qualification to HNC/HND level in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent industry experience in a test environment.
  2. Have a good level of computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Office or equivalent.
Desirable Experience
  1. Experience working with gas-related products in a regulatory or certification setting.
