About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our Gas Product Testing team in Loughborough. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out test work on a range of gas products and fittings to agreed quality, standards, and timescales. Your primary objective will be to ensure that the products are safe and fit for purpose, while collaborating with internal stakeholders and clients to deliver successful projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of gas products and fittings to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Liaise with clients to provide updates on project status and facilitate premier customer service.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and complete test reports, as well as project status reports as required.
  • Collaborate with the calibration department to ensure the maintenance and use of correct equipment for testing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory and office environment, with proper data storage and management.
  • Identify and escalate any issues that may impact the quality or performance of test results.
Requirements
  • Hold a qualification to HNC/HND level in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent industry experience in a test environment.
  • possess a good level of computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Office or equivalent.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience working with gas-related products in a regulatory or certification setting, such as product certification or manufacturing.
