Environmental Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Environmental Protection Team as a Public Protection Technical Officer. This is a fixed-term post until 31st March 2025, and we are looking for someone who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality services to our community.
The successful candidate will have a relevant qualification and/or experience in environmental protection, bird control, and/or customer service. They will be able to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing excellent customer service and negotiating skills. The ability to work from home, in the office, and on-site is essential, as is the flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
About YouWe are looking for someone who is passionate about environmental protection and has a strong understanding of Environmental Protection legislation. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and the public.
