Business Development Representative

As an Internal Sales and Business Development Executive, your job will be to find and develop new business opportunities, working closely with the main stakeholder within the business. Your role will involve identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, conducting market research to inform business strategies, and analysing current business performance to strategically target specific customers, sectors, and product types.
The Role
- Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities
- Reach out to potential customers through various channels to assess their requirements
- Conduct market research to inform business strategies
- Analyse current business performance and quotation success rates to strategically target specific customers, sectors, and product types
- Maintain a detailed record/database of customer interactions, using defined software or templates
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including external clients
- Handle minor customer complaints, collaborating with the Quality Manager and Senior Leadership Team to ensure customer feedback is properly documented and addressed
- Collaborate with the Product and Business Development Manager to track the status of inbound sales inquiries, outbound sales efforts, special projects, and post-delivery learning's
- Work with the commercial team and the Managing Director to develop quarterly and annual growth plans, including scheduling meetings, setting agendas, taking notes, and creating and tracking action items
