Job Summary:

Join our team at Academics Ltd as a Therapeutic Assistant for Young People and play a vital role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs. As a qualified individual with a background in Psychology or SEN experience, you will work in a therapeutic setting, providing individualized support and education to students.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in classes of 3-6 pupils with a staff-to-student ratio of 1:1
  • Provide individualized support and education to students
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans

Requirements:

  • A degree in Psychology or related field (preferable)
  • Experience working with children with SEN and SEMH needs (ideal)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for developing key and personal skills

Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
