Senior Children's Residential Support Worker Role

Located in Hemel Hempstead, this position offers a competitive salary of £29,600 - £30,800 per annum, plus sleep-in allowance. As a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker, you will collaborate with the team to provide therapeutic care and support to young individuals.

About the Job:

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Service Manager to ensure efficient day-to-day management and high-quality care. You will be responsible for leading a team in providing comprehensive records, including event logs, progress reports, and care plans.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team in providing therapeutic care, addressing the unique needs of each child.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring the well-being and safety of the children.
  • Serve as a positive role model, fostering trust and growth among colleagues and children alike.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 12 months experience in a child-centred, therapeutic environment.
  • Qualification: Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).
  • Driving License: Must hold a full UK driving license.
  • Flexibility: Ability to cover long day shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins.
