About the Role:

Our school offers a range of therapies, including speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and psychology, to support students' emotional and academic well-being.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in implementing effective communication techniques, developing individualized learning plans, and supporting students during lessons and activities. You will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to create a rich and engaging educational experience that meets the unique needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with complex needs
  • Implement effective communication techniques to enhance student engagement and understanding
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to lesson planning and delivery to ensure high-quality educational experiences

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of effective communication techniques and strategies for supporting students with complex needs
