Business Development Manager

We are seeking a talented and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Brakes, the UK's largest foodservice supplier. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for researching, prospecting, and winning new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Research and identify potential new business opportunities to maintain a healthy pipeline.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to secure new business at the correct margin.
- Build strong commercial customer relationships to understand their business needs and requirements.
- Manage all activity through Salesforce CRM to maintain pipeline, activity, and conversion visibility and tracking.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to assist with new customers, including Depots, Credit Control, and other departments.
- Previous experience in a New Business role within a fast-moving B2B environment.
- Results-oriented, successfully delivering against targets in a competitive marketplace.
- Outstanding active listening skills with the ability to engage and influence customers.
- Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and experience of Salesforce and/or SAP would be beneficial.
