About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administration and HR Assistant to join our team at Sterling Recruitments. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General administration duties, including managing office supplies, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient workflows.
  • Handling incoming calls and emails, and redirecting as necessary to ensure prompt response.
  • Producing management reports to inform business decisions and drive performance improvement.
  • Internal auditing and quality control measures to ensure compliance and adherence to company policies.
  • Preparing for and assisting with external audits to maintain regulatory requirements.
  • Assisting with pre-employment checks to ensure thorough vetting of candidates.
  • Updating employee training matrices to reflect changing needs and priorities.
  • Supporting new starter inductions to ensure seamless onboarding and integration into the team.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent admin skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and demonstrate strong time-management skills.
  • Own transport is required due to limited public transportation options in the area.
  • A high level of discretion and confidentiality is essential when handling sensitive information.
