We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN education assistant to join our team in a supportive SEN school environment.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to pursue a career within education, working in a role that requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The position is based in Oldham, and we offer a competitive daily rate of £90.00.
Job DescriptionAs an SEN education assistant, you will provide one-to-one support for a child with complex emotional and academic needs, including ASD and speech & language difficulties.
You will work closely with teachers and other staff members to develop strategies to support the student's educational and personal development.
Requirements- Previous SEN experience
- Experience working with challenging behaviour
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable)
- Right to Work in the UK
- Enhanced Child Barred List DBS certificate or willingness to process a new application
- Two professional references
