We are looking for a skilled and compassionate teaching assistant to join our team in Oldham. As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with the teacher and pupils to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

 

The successful candidate will have experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with Autism and challenging behaviors. You will be responsible for providing individualized support, facilitating group interventions, and contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

 

This is a full-time role with the potential for permanent employment at a later date. We offer a competitive salary of up to £25,000 per annum, plus benefits including 5 weeks annual leave and 8 bank holidays.

 

**Job Key Responsibilities:*

  • Support the teacher in delivering lessons and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Work closely with children who have SEN, including Autism and challenging behaviors
  • Facilitate group interventions and contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment
