Role Overview

The role of an SEN Teacher at Smile Education involves working with students across a range of abilities and needs. The ideal candidate will have a specialisation in SEN education, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, and proven experience working in an SEN school or with SEN students.

About the Role

  • Delivering engaging, individualised lessons that cater to the varied needs of SEN students.
  • Fostering engagement and enjoyment in learning using innovative teaching methods and resources.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, maintaining open communication with parents and caregivers.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this SEN Teaching position, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialisation in SEN education.
  • Proven experience working in an SEN school or with SEN students, with a thorough understanding of various learning difficulties and disabilities.
  • A positive, flexible approach, with a passion for providing high-quality support and education.
  • An enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
