We are currently recruiting for a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Oldham. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teacher and pupils in achieving their academic goals.

 

The successful candidate will have experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with Autism and challenging behaviors. You will be responsible for providing one-to-one support, facilitating group interventions, and contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

 

This is a full-time role with the option to become permanent in the future. We offer a competitive salary of up to £25,000 per annum, plus benefits including 5 weeks annual leave and 8 bank holidays.

 

**Job Description:*

  • Support the teacher in delivering lessons and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Work closely with children who have SEN, including Autism and challenging behaviors
  • Facilitate group interventions and contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment
