We are currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced L3 Teaching Assistant to support primary schools in the OL1 area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on children's education.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position, working 8:30am-3:30pm Monday to Friday.
  • The salary for this role will be between £84-£95 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • This role would suit someone with previous experience supporting pupils in Primary or SEN schools, looking for a challenging and rewarding position.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting holistic learning both in and out of the classroom as directed by the class teacher.
  • Creating an inclusive and positive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
  • Supporting pupils in engaging with learning activities and tailoring approaches to meet individual needs.
  • Managing high-stress situations and escalating concerns to relevant staff members.
  • Collaborating with colleagues within the classroom and wider school community.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • An adaptable, proactive, and collaborative team player.
  • Patient and understanding with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues.
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational capacity, ideally with SEN backgrounds.
  • Relevant qualifications preferred, but not essential for the right candidate.
