About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Fracture Clinic at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As an Orthopaedic Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Fracture Clinic and Elective Clinics, providing expert care to patients with orthopaedic conditions.
  • Cast removal and application of basic casts, as well as wound care, including the application of pico's and Vac therapy.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.

Requirements

  • First-level registration with the UK NMC as a Registered Nurse.
  • Good knowledge of UK current nursing issues, clinical governance, and wound care.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
