**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Childcare Support Specialist to join our team at Spark of Genius, a leading provider of residential childcare services in Scotland.

The successful candidate will work directly with young people who require support and guidance to overcome their complex needs connected to childhood adversity.

In this rewarding role, you will contribute to the development of skills and self-care practices among the young people, while promoting positive relationships and encouraging achievements.

As part of our dedicated team, you will participate in and encourage participation in domestic tasks, write review reports and risk assessments, and collaborate with parents and agencies to ensure the best interests of the young people are respected and promoted.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of developmental needs and milestones of young people, experience working with children and families, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A driving license is essential due to the remote location.

Benefits include a competitive salary of £32,000 - £35,000 per annum, a fully paid induction program, ongoing training and development opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.
