Risk and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled RISK AND COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST to join our team at East Ayrshire Council. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a vital role in identifying and mitigating risks that could impact our operations and reputation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting risk assessments to identify potential threats and opportunities.
- Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies to prevent incidents and reputational damage.
- Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of risk management principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This is a permanent full-time post with an annual salary of £46,500-£49,300, depending on experience. The hours of work are 35 hours per week, with flexible working arrangements available. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life assurance, and childcare vouchers.
