Job Description

We're looking for a Safety Case Manager (Environment) to provide advice to our Capenhurst businesses on environmental requirements. You'll be responsible for ensuring that environmental assessments are delivered, implemented, adopted, and maintained to support modifications and comply with our LC15 and CR10 arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver, implement, adopt, and maintain fit-for-purpose environmental assessments to support our operations.
  • Act as the Design Authority Representative for environmental aspects of nuclear and COMAH safety cases.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Design Authority, Project Delivery Organisation, and Safety Case Process Owners to inform updates and revisions to our safety case framework.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the UK Regulatory framework and its implications for UK Licensees.


Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Science or Technical discipline or equivalent.
  • Experience in the nuclear industry, COMAH, or high-hazard sites.
  • Experience in preparing or reviewing environmental safety assessments.
  • Thorough understanding of the UK Environmental Regulatory Framework.
