Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurses to deliver high-quality patient care in our mental health settings. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide safe and supportive environments for patients with complex mental health needs.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' mental health needs and develop tailored care plans that promote positive outcomes.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications safely and effectively, monitoring patient responses to ensure adherence to prescribed treatments.
  • Emotional Support: Provide empathetic support and counselling to patients and their families, fostering a therapeutic environment that promotes emotional well-being.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with healthcare professionals to implement treatment strategies, evaluate patient progress, and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
  • PMVA certification is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of patient care principles and practices, particularly in mental health settings.
  • Anatomy and physiology knowledge relevant to mental health conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
  • Able to work effectively within a team while demonstrating initiative in patient care.
About Our Offer
