About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Technical Lead to join our growing team at Aviva. As a senior data engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and delivery capability across the development & IT Change community.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a senior data engineer in data lake/lake house architecture platform and hands-on experience of developing data pipelines using Pyspark and SQL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and delivery capability across the development & IT Change community.
  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Pyspark and SQL.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver data engineering solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering.
What We Offer
  • Starting salary between £60,000 - £65,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications).
  • Bonus opportunity – 10% of annual salary - Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
