Long Term Futures Ltd is recruiting a skilled teaching assistant to support one of our client Alternative Provision (AP) schools in Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a unique setting, where you will play a vital role in guiding the educational journey of students who require additional support.
As a teaching assistant, you will be responsible for working closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences. You will tailor your teaching strategies to meet individual student needs, fostering engagement and promoting access to education for all. Your role will also involve providing emotional support to students facing challenges, helping them resolve issues effectively and maintain a positive attitude towards learning.
To be successful in this role, you will need prior experience working with students who require SEN support, with a strong understanding of their unique needs and requirements. You will also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff. Additionally, you will have a compassionate and dedicated approach, with a focus on supporting students to achieve their full potential.
The salary for this position is £95-£105 per annum, depending on experience.
