CI&E Engineer Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional CI&E Engineer to join our team in Rosyth, Fife. This is a full-time role that offers hybrid working arrangements, with 2 days spent in the office and 3 days working from home.
As a CI&E Engineer, you will be responsible for performing Control, Instrumentation & Electrical tasks in support of winning and delivering large-scale process-engineering themed projects for our key customers. Your expertise will ensure that our business maintains its position as the world leader in delivering marine cargo handling and fuel gas systems for the transportation/storage of liquefied gas.
About the RoleThis is a hands-on role where you will:
- Perform calculations, data sheets, specifications, schedules, and drawings as required.
- Mentor graduate engineers.
- Contribute to product and process safety systems workshops (HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA, SIL, and LoPA).
- Promote a culture of openness, honesty, commitment, and continuous improvement.
- Actively support the company's health, safety, environmental, quality, and other policies and procedures.
- Anticipate and mitigate problems/difficulties.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- CISE experience in project engineering or design engineering.
- The ability to work under deadlines while being reactive to customer/client requests for change.
- Design engineering experience in E&I control panel layout.
- A proven track record in PLC & HMI programming.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IEC 60079 ATEX and CompEx training.
- Familiarity with Siemens/Allen Bradley/GE IP PLC hardware and software packages.
- Understanding of remote monitoring system protocol and development.
You should have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, preferably chartered or working towards accreditation.
In addition, you must demonstrate strong competency across at least two of the three technical disciplines: Control, Instrumentation, and Electrical.
