About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Specialist to join our team at DPS Group. As a key member of our control systems development team, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions to various industries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the control manager to develop the DPS Group client base.
  • Ensure all projects are completed within budget, maintaining commercial awareness and liaising with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project teams and management to ensure solutions are optimum in terms of cost, technical acceptability, and alignment with client specifications and current legislation.
  • Provide automation and process control system development, software, and hardware solutions, including testing, commissioning, and documentation as required.
  • Maintain a good understanding of project requirements by planning and forecasting, reacting to changes, and managing multiple projects throughout their life cycle.
  • Utilize systems and programmes such as E-Plan, AutoCAD, Sharepoint, and other MS Packages as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level education in Engineering/Science or an alternate qualification equivalent in Electrical, Control Systems Engineering.
  • At least five years of experience in Control Systems Engineering.
  • Experience in Siemens and/or Rockwell Automation and/or Schneider Electric latest Automation and Process Control Systems.
  • Ability to use initiative, work to tight deadlines, and possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience with client-facing interactions.
