About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team at DPS Group. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control software solutions for various industries, utilizing your expertise in PLC programming and SCADA knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop control software solutions for various industries, ensuring high-quality standards and commercial awareness.
  • Work closely with project teams and management to deliver solutions that meet client specifications, current legislation, and company standards.
  • Provide automation and process control system development, software, and hardware solutions, including testing, commissioning, and documentation.
  • Maintain a good understanding of project requirements, planning, and forecasting, and manage multiple projects through their life cycle.
  • Utilize appropriate systems and programs, including E-Plan, AutoCAD, Sharepoint, and other MS packages as needed.
Requirements
  • Degree-level education in Engineering/Science or equivalent in Electrical, Control Systems Engineering.
  • At least five years' experience in Controls Systems Engineering.
  • Experience in Siemens and/or Rockwell Automation and/or Schneider Electric latest Automation and Process Control Systems.
  • Advantage if experience with all aspects of automation and process control systems, including drives, servo, and AC drive/motors.
  • Someone who has carried out the completion of full turnkey projects from design through to programming and commissioning.
