Job Description

At DPS Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control System Engineer to join our team of experts in Glenrothes, Fife. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions to a variety of industries while mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop control software for various industries, leveraging your PLC programming and SCADA expertise to deliver solutions that meet client specifications and quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams and management to ensure solutions are technically acceptable, cost-effective, and meet client requirements.
  • Provide automation and process control system development, software, and hardware solutions, including testing, commissioning, and documentation.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of project requirements, plan and forecast, and manage multiple projects throughout their lifecycle.
  • Utilize industry-leading software, including E-Plan, AutoCAD, Sharepoint, and other MS packages as needed.

Requirements:

  1. BSc or BEng in Engineering/Science or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Control Systems Engineering.
  2. At least five years of experience in Control Systems Engineering.
  3. Expertise in Siemens and/or Rockwell Automation and/or Schneider Electric latest Automation and Process Control Systems.
  4. Advantage if experienced in all aspects of automation and process control systems, including drives, servo, and AC drive/motors.
  5. Proven ability to complete full turnkey projects from design through to programming and commissioning.
