Role Overview
DPS Group is seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Specialist to join their team in Glenrothes, Fife. As a key member of the engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing control software for various industries, utilizing your PLC programming and SCADA knowledge to deliver innovative solutions to clients.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Control Manager/Senior Engineer and work closely with them to develop the DPS Group client base.
- Collaborate with the project team and management to ensure that the solution provided is technically acceptable, within budget, and meets client specifications and current legislation.
- Provide Automation & Process Control System Development, Software and Hardware solutions, including testing, commissioning, and documentation as required for all projects and tasks.
- Manage multiple projects throughout their lifecycle, planning and forecasting project requirements, and reacting to any changes that may occur.

Requirements
- BSc or BEng in Engineering/Science or an equivalent qualification in Electrical, Control Systems Engineering.
- Experience in Controls Systems Engineering, specifically with Siemens and/or Rockwell Automation and/or Schneider Electric latest Automation and Process Control Systems.
- Familiarity with DCS systems, including PCS7 and PlantPAx, and simulation tools like SIMIT is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with experience in working with clients and presenting solutions effectively.
- Ability to use own initiative and work to tight deadlines, completing full turnkey projects from design through to programming and commissioning.
