Advanced Marine Control Systems Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Babcock LGE in Rosyth.
About the Role:- You will be responsible for designing, planning, and preparing PLC and HMI software for control systems with I/O points ranging from 500 to 1500.
- Your tasks will include coordinating with other business departments to achieve project objectives and deliverable schedules.
- You will contribute to Product and Process Safety control aspects of workshops, such as HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA, SIL, and LoPA.
- This is a full-time role based in Rosyth, with hybrid working arrangements offering two days in the office and three days working from home.
- A degree in Control/Software/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in control system software design, preferably in the process industry.
- Significant proficiency in PLC & HMI programming, particularly with Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Emerson PAC8000 (or equivalent).
- Design engineering expertise in I/O system layout for E&I control panels.
- Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing customer requirements.
- An estimated salary range of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
