We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Strategic Commissioning Professional to join our team, covering a range of portfolios including social care, mental health, Special Education Needs, youth services and early intervention/early help.

Your work will be focused on delivering an ambitious programme of service development, improvement, and innovation across these portfolios.

This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their skills in commissioning, providing project support across a range of programmes and areas of work.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to achieving the best possible outcomes for children and young people living in the boroughs, working closely with our small, supportive, and highly motivated team.

In return, you can look forward to a competitive salary of approximately £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, a high-quality pension scheme, and generous annual leave plus bank holidays.

About You:

  • A highly motivated and experienced professional with excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including staff, service users, and partners
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience of data analysis and interpretation
  • Familiarity with commissioning processes and procedures, ideally within a local authority or similar environment
