Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Finance Team as a Charitable Funds Finance Officer. This exciting opportunity will allow you to provide financial and administrative support to the Swansea Bay University Health Board Charity.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Charity Team, SBU Finance, Accounts payable and Procurement staff, and other key stakeholders to ensure the effective management of charitable income streams. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in building and maintaining relationships with Fund Advisors, donors, and other staff members.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial administration support to the Charitable Funds Finance Analyst and financial advice to Charitable Fund holders across the Health Board's charity. You will also liaise closely with the Health Board's Charity team to provide advice and support on governance around fundraising and other charity team functions.

Main Duties

  • Provide financial and administrative support to the Charitable Funds Finance Analyst
  • Process financial information accurately and in accordance with procedures
  • Provide financial advice to Charitable Fund holders across the Health Board's charity
  • Liaise with the Health Board's Charity team to provide advice and support on governance
